Outline
The site, which used to be an office of a company, was reconstructed into a housing complex of 45 dwelling units, divided into six volumes, each of which is open to the surrounding area. The exterior walls are sprayed with colored ceramic ware and natural stone aggregate. The color of each of the six buildings is changed so that there is no succession of the same color surface, and the sense of oppression to the surrounding area is reduced. The height of the volumes is varied in consideration of the surrounding buildings.
