The new Odakyu Romance Car (the ninth generation of dedicated cars) celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2017, with a driver's seat on the second floor and an observation seat in the first car. It has a driver's seat on the second floor and an observation seat in the first car. In response to the recent increase in barrier-free awareness of railways and the increasing demand for inbound trains, the space for luggage under the seats has been secured and the interior of the train has been improved for easy walking. The structure is made of hollow extruded aluminum alloy.
