This is a gymnasium for a company with a site of approximately 200,000 m2 in Mashiki-cho, Kumamoto Prefecture. In consideration of the existing landscape of the site, we excavated 50m of ground around the construction site, and buried the first floor 8m into the ground to keep the overall volume lower than the surrounding trees.
