Along with the reconstruction of the old main office building, a new seismically isolated main office building was built on the site. The new building will be connected to the civic plaza that will be built on the site after the demolition of the old building, and the fire department headquarters will be relocated to the new building to facilitate cooperation between the city and the fire department and to serve as a base for quick response in the event of a disaster.
