This project involved the reconstruction of the entire Sakurajosui Housing Complex, which was completed in 1965. While retaining some of the existing trees and making use of the layout of the old residential buildings and plaza, the housing was rebuilt from 17 buildings with 404 units (4-5 stories) to 9 buildings with 878 units (6-14 stories).
