Outline
A pavilion made of stainless steel mesh was designed in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the town's incorporation, near the terminal of Miyaura Port, one of the gateways to Naoshima. The pavilion is intended to be a place where local people and tourists can casually stop by and interact with each other. The height of the pavilion is about 6.3 m. The mesh is a 37.5-mm grid consisting of two 75-mm grids stacked on top of each other.
