IZUE ARCHITECT & ASSOCIATES
Outline
This project involves the reconstruction of a dilapidated wall in an old mansion in the suburbs of Osaka, and the construction of a hanare to accompany it. The site is rich in undulations, and the native trees still remain. The Hanare will be used as a place to view the autumn leaves of the old trees in the center of the garden, and as a gallery for the client's calligraphic works. The attic of the main house, which had been used as a storage room, was renovated and turned into a guest room.
