KUME SEKKEI
Outline
This project is to reconstruct a school building in an area where historical buildings are concentrated in the university campus plan. The building consists of a low-rise section that recreates the original appearance of the old school building, which was repeatedly extended and reconstructed for about 80 years, and a 14-story high-rise section. The high-rise section is set back to the "roof tile" position to enhance the sense of independence of the reproduction section, and the roof of the reproduction section is made of reused roof tiles.
