In the Nihonbashi 2-chome Urban Area Redevelopment Project Type 1, the Takashimaya Nihonbashi Store, an important cultural asset, will be positioned as the core of the project and preserved, and a terrace space surrounded by greenery will be created on the roof. SOM will be in charge of the exterior design of the two new buildings.
