Outline
A 200-unit public disaster housing complex in Onagawa Town, which was hit by the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake. In Onagawa Town, about 80% of the houses were destroyed and the population decreased by about 10% after the earthquake. Therefore, the housing was constructed on the flat ground of the track of the athletic stadium on the high ground, where people can live faster and longer. To cope with the rising cost of materials and to achieve high quality and short construction period, we adopted the PCa construction method for columns, beams and floor boards. The project was completed in three months of design and nine months of construction.
