This is a reconstruction project for the 60th anniversary of Higashiyawata Christian Church in Kitakyushu City, which has been supporting the homeless for 25 years. The flow line from the entrance to the foyer, hall, and chapel is treated as a space under the eaves of the building, where anyone can casually enter and use it for a variety of purposes. A shelter is also provided for people in need to sleep in.
