The Hakka Museum and Research Institute is located in Miaoli County, north-central Taiwan. The building is constructed with a roof that matches the topography and the slope of the existing terrain. The roof is supported by a tree-shaped structure with a diameter of 250 mm, and the top light of the roof changes the density distribution of light depending on the activity.
