Outline
The renovation project of the Louis Vuitton Matsuya Ginza store, which was completed in 2000, consists of three floors instead of two, and the exterior is extended to the eighth floor. The exterior is extended to the eighth floor. At night, the store is illuminated to create a light pattern reminiscent of Louis Vuitton's floral motifs. The exterior walls consist of star-shaped star panels and back panels with ball-shaped dents. The joints of the back panel are placed at an angle of 45 degrees to the star panel so as not to be visible. The star panels come in five different sizes.
