In order to bring back the liveliness to the city center of Fukuyama, we held the "Workshop for Building the Future of Fukuyama" to think about the future of Fukuyama with citizens. The participants were divided into five teams and asked to start specific activities. One team thought of a plan to utilize a vacant shop in the shopping street, and another team thought of a movie theater in the town, aiming at utilizing existing spatial resources in the town.
