Outline
This project is part of the Yokohama Smart City Project, which aims to create a low-carbon city through the use of HEMS, MEMS, renewable energy, and other means of energy management throughout the entire community. In addition to the installation of an "independent and distributed energy system" consisting of a fuel cell (SOFC-type ENE-FARM), solar power generation, and storage batteries in the 45-year-old company housing, improvements to livability have been made by moving the water closet to the south side of the building, installing sashes that efficiently let in the outside air, and installing movable partitions.
