Renovation project of tenement houses in Kita-ku, Osaka City, which were designated for removal due to aging. The first phase of the renovation was completed in 2007, led by the Takehara-Koike Lab. of Osaka City University, and the renovation of the south row houses was completed in 2009, and the renovation of the north end row houses was completed in 2010. This is an effort to preserve the traditional townscape and residences.
