- This tea room was commissioned by a contemporary artist living in New York. The room consists of a four-and-a-half-mat tea ceremony room and standing seats for serving tea to ten guests. It is located on the top floor of an 80-year-old building overlooking a skyscraper. The stile and rail of the tea room and the floor pillars are all made of old wood from the time when the United States was founded.
