KAJIMA DESIGN
Outline
Offices of the Technical Research Institute. A full-flat slab construction method without beams was adopted. Ducts, ceilings, and OA floors have been eliminated from the office by introducing ambient air conditioning that utilizes the coanda effect, in which airflow adheres to a smooth plane, and furniture with built-in lighting and wiring. A CASBEE BEE value of 8.3 was achieved by controlling architectural loads, such as controlling solar radiation with eaves, and applying air conditioning and lighting to suit the work styles of researchers. Demonstration experiments will be continued with the aim of realizing ZEB in medium-scale office buildings.
