KAJIMA DESIGN
Outline
Half of the office area on the 6th floor of the Kajima KI Building (8905 in this journal) was refurbished. A contrastive comparison was made to achieve ZEB in the field of renovation of existing office buildings. In addition to the renovation of air conditioning and lighting, an air conditioning and lighting control system using motion sensors to detect the density of people, and an electricity usage management system combining photovoltaic panels and lithium-ion batteries were implemented. The amount of electricity used will be reduced to half that of an average office building.
