Temporary housing constructed by Tono City to accommodate evacuees from the coastal areas. In cooperation with the University of Tokyo's Institute of Gerontology and Iwate Prefectural University, a community care type temporary housing project was planned. Unlike conventional standardized temporary housing areas, this project introduced various types of places, such as a zone with a care center for the elderly and a zone with a face-to-face layout and wood decks that facilitates community. The care zone, where the units are arranged face-to-face, has a roof and a deck. The structure is made of locally produced wood and is prepared for the transition to the main building.
