Outline
This project aims to preserve and revitalize the Ishikawa Prefectural Government Building, which was built in 1923 by Kenkichi Yabashi (1869-1927), who served as the head of the temporary building division of the Finance Bureau. It is expected to contribute to the revitalization of the central district of Kanazawa City by changing the use of the building from a prefectural office to a cultural complex, in addition to the preservation of historical buildings. A part of the south side is preserved, and a glass facade is added to the north side by expansion joints.
