Outline
The Shibuya Campus of Kokugakuin University was re-planned over a period of nine years to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the university's founding in 2001. The Wakagi Tower was made taller by converting the volume of each building. It has become a symbol of the university to the city. A traffic line at the center of the site and at the second floor level connects the entire campus. The eaves of each building control solar radiation and ventilation to the interior, and the entire campus is unified by this facade design.
