A 15th-century customs warehouse on the opposite side of St. Mark's Square in Venice, Italy, has been renovated and preserved as a museum of contemporary art. The client, François Pinault, has been a friend since the Pinault Museum of Contemporary Art in the suburbs of Paris, and in Venice he completed the Palazzo Grassi in the middle of the canal in 2006. In Venice, the Palazzo Grassi was completed in 2006 in the middle of the canal, and the building was basically restored to its original state. 16,000 mm square central court is the center of the exhibition spaces.
