Outline
A three-story atrium, which also serves as a vertical flow line, is placed in the center of the building, drawing the outside environment into the building despite its location in a dense residential area. the upper part of the atrium has a skylight with double-glazed screened glass windows facing the front street and the neighbor's driveway, while the lower part is a semi-exterior space that extends the balcony and garden. in that atrium space, all surfaces are finished in silver to efficiently deliver light into the building and dully reflect the surrounding cityscape.
