The house is built in the narrow space between the steps of a hillside development. each room is connected by skipped floors around an atrium in the center of the cross-shaped plan. the louvered floors and polycarbonate panels are used to create an appropriate sense of distance between each room while still allowing the family to feel the presence of each other.
