The house is built on a long and narrow site in a suburban city. the volume is a two-story building with a frontage of 2 ken (2 m) by 7.5 ken (7.5 m), and the dining room, kitchen, and living room are gently connected by a 2 m difference in level. the high earthquake resistance is ensured by placing load-bearing walls at appropriate intervals at both ends in the shortitudinal direction, and the high exterior skin performance is achieved by planning exterior insulation, high-performance window sashes, and eaves.
