HouseT

Outline
This is the designer's own residence in a residential area of central Tokyo. In addition to the residence, the basement floor is used as a rental space, and the second floor is used as an atelier. The textures of the larch plywood formwork on the walls are left in place, and the plants are planted to blend in with the land as if the house had always stood there. Inside, the materials are textured, and the shadows of light create depth throughout the rooms and details.
