YUTANI ARCHITECTS
Outline
The house is located in a village in Mie Prefecture, where the countryside spreads out. The living/dining room with a Buddhist altar is located in the space between the plastered arc wall and the water area arranged in a flying geese pattern. The residents of the village gather here for funerals, and the space with the hip window in the corridor becomes a place for daily interaction with visitors.
