Outline
Renovation of the designer's 32-year-old mother's house to accommodate current living conditions. The existing building was divided into two buildings, and the east wing was rotated 90 degrees and relocated. Two walls were erected on the cut surface facing the shared driveway on the north side, creating a 455mm wide "duburu sukin." The two walls have openings on opposite sides, protecting privacy from the driveway while allowing ventilation and lighting through the gaps.
