The building stands on a diamond-shaped site at the corner of a residential area. It is a rectangle of about 16 x 19 m with a hipped roof with low eaves height of 2,320 mm. Without separating the interior and exterior, the exterior space is incorporated into the rectangle in the same way as the living room, private rooms, and water area, so that the rooms are connected to each other through the exterior, creating a sense of depth throughout the house.
