Panoramic view of the southwest side. The building stands on a gently sloping site. The first floor has a 1,950mm high foundation and a 1,128mm high convex wooden structure on top of the high foundation, and the second floor is an 8,190mm wide volume placed in the center of the site, offset from the first floor. The second floor is an 8,190 mm wide volume that is placed in the center of the site, offset from the first floor. Both the first and second floors are pillarless so that the living conditions are not restricted by the site conditions or the wooden construction method. The exterior is made of ceramic siding.
