Outline
In a suburban residential area of a regional city, this project consists of a main house and a detached annex across a courtyard. The main functions of the house are housed in the main house, and the annex, which is almost a semi-outdoor space, is installed to make activities more diversified. The main house and the annex are fully open to the courtyard, so that one can feel the presence of the family no matter where one is in the house, and the roof is constructed with lattice beams covered with plywood along a three-foot grid, which can be freely modified as long as the distance between the posts is within three and a half meters.
