KOJI AOKI ARCHITECTS
Outline
Three small buildings are placed at equal intervals on the site, which is surrounded by a lumber processing plant, a materials yard, a garage and office of a landscaping company, and an old one-story house with different elevations. The library, dining room, and bedroom buildings are connected to each other through the garden in the gap between them, creating a sense of distance that allows them to recognize each other even though they are far apart.
