Outline
Located in a suburban new town that was developed 30 years ago, this renovation of a home for a couple after their children became independent consists of attaching a two-story high frame to the existing exterior wall to create a large space where neighbors and family can gather. By opening and closing the curtains made of disaster prevention mesh sheets, the space can be transformed into an indoor sunroom or an outdoor balcony.
