HOUSE IN SANNOU

MANABU NAYA+ARATA NAYA/ NAYA ARCHITECTS
Outline
This is a house with a semi-nested spatial configuration, in which a rectangular box is built inside a wooden two-layered variant cube. The gaps between the cubes connect the entrance, guest room, living room, and loft in a variety of relationships, and function as buffer spaces between the interior and exterior. The windows located in the middle of the gaps and voids create a sense of distance between the spaces.
