The building is located in downtown Tokyo, where there are many apartments and three-story houses. The parking space is housed in a tunnel-shaped RC structure, on top of which three layers of wood are placed. While the dimensions of the building are determined by the area and legal constraints, we have created a sense of depth by focusing on the long side of the building, such as a 5m long bookshelf that can hold 5,000 books, an opening on the south side up to the foot of the building, and the stairwell as a place to live.
