Outline
The building is located in a suburban residential area overlooking a large park to the south. The building is designed to have different floor levels in accordance with the slope, and the height is kept down by a single large roof, so that it does not look oppressive to the surroundings. The living and dining room on the south side of the house leads to the library, which is one level up, and the staircase room with a top light, and then to a private room that doubles as a study on the upper level, creating a variety of places to live within a single continuous space.
