Outline
The house is a rectangular volume with a wooden decked courtyard arranged diagonally. The site, which is accessed from both north and south, has a large footprint and opens up to the sky. By arranging the courtyard diagonally, the corridor disappears and each space is connected to each other through the courtyard. At the same time, each space becomes more private and independent as you go deeper into the building.
