This is a renovation and seismic reinforcement project of row houses built in the Taisho era (1912-1926), which has been carried out since 2007. A total of five dwelling units from the main building, Ginja row houses, East row houses and West row houses were renovated and reinforced against earthquakes. The rowhouses lined up across a 3.6-meter alley space are registered as a tangible cultural property, and the project is practicing to preserve the rowhouse culture while using it.
