Rural House
Yuyuki Kojima Architects & Engineers, Inc.
- Outline
- The RC first floor is open only to the garden with a large water surface, and the S-story second floor rests on it. In consideration of the surrounding rural landscape, the garden is enclosed with semi-transparent glass to block the view from the vicinity of the building and to allow the view of the distant mountains. By making the enclosed living spaces and voids continuous, I attempt to create a sense of openness and stability. Construction completed: March 2004.
