OTSUCHI TOWN CULTURAL COMMUNICATION CENTER "OSHATCHI"

Outline
This three-story wooden library complex was planned in conjunction with the reconstruction of a library and a local exchange facility that were damaged by the tsunami that followed the Great East Japan Earthquake. The west façade has a continuous portal arch structure, the hall has a three-dimensional tension truss, and the third floor library has a tree-shaped cane structure.
