KOGAKUIN UNIVERSITY 125TH MEMORIAL EDUCATION CENTER

Outline
The General Education Building was designed as part of Kogakuin University's 125th anniversary project, and the designer was selected through a proposal competition held in 2009 (1002 NEWS). The building consists of four L-shaped buildings with a single corridor. The buildings are intended to be used as teaching materials for the School of Architecture, and the structural form, openings, wall finishes, etc. are visualized differently for each use. Seismic isolation structure is adopted.
