A villa for a collector of contemporary art, built on a site sloping in an east-west direction in Karuizawa. The main house and three detached Japanese-style rooms are placed on a site of approximately 2,400mm2, in accordance with the difference in elevation of the site. The roofs are pitched in a northwest-southeast direction with varying lengths and slopes, and each of the three buildings has a large terrace under the eaves.
