KIONJI TEMPLE

Outline
Reconstruction of a Zen temple in a residential area. Within the limited site, an attempt was made to divide the space by combining the main hall, the guest hall, and the storehouse into one building. The large roof of the main hall is a wooden HP shell that rises toward the north. In the eaves, wooden pillars are placed next to the solid iron pillars that support the roof, in keeping with tradition.
