HOUSE IN ROKKO

Outline
The house stands on the hillside with the city of Kobe and the Seto Inland Sea in front of it. The structure consists of a house-shaped volume aligned with the surrounding houses on top of a high-ceilinged glass-walled earthen floor. The aim was to build a house that is not only dominated by the landscape, but also by the surrounding environment and the life of the inhabitants.
