- Plan for the complete relocation of Kinki University Hospital and the School of Medicine from Sayama City to Sakai City. The site, formerly occupied by prefectural public housing and an urban park, was acquired, and the project was planned as a low-rise, multi-building complex. The prefectural public housing units were redeveloped along the perimeter of the site. A pedestrian deck was constructed in the center of the site to connect the hospital and university facilities and serve as a daily route for local residents. The pedestrian deck extends all the way to Nankai Electric Railway’s Izumigaoka Station.
