Outline: This is a small cooperative house of 6 units. The designer developed a wall layout program to minimize the cost of the structure, and studied the structure prior to tenant recruitment. The resulting wall layouts were used as the basis for the infill design, thereby reducing the design period and construction time. In addition to windows and non-structural walls installed in the openings of the structure, stairs and balconies were installed with mechanical joints to enable future reorganization of the dwelling units.
