Outline: This is the second phase of a project to build a village in the Fujino area of Kanagawa Prefecture to support local immigration. Around the main house in the center of the photo (the owner's residence, JSME 2308), which was completed in the first phase of the project, "Sangen Nagaya" (left), where prospective residents live for several years, and "Hanare" (right), a place to work and welcome guests, were built, and the entire site was developed as a place for practicing permaculture. No rent or user fees are set, and residents and users pay the owners for any means or amount they choose, such as farm work, forestry work, or money.
