- The first phase of "BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA," a reconstruction project of the Hamamatsucho Building (former Toshiba Building, 8406 in this magazine) jointly promoted by Nomura Real Estate and East Japan Railway Company, consisted of two multi-use towers (TOWER S and TOWER N). In the first phase, the existing low-rise tower was demolished and TOWER S was newly constructed. Designated as a special project in the National Strategic Special Zone, the project also aims to develop a pedestrian network around JR Hamamatsucho Station, revitalize boat traffic, and create a lively waterfront area.
