- The school was to be built on a mountain overlooking the sea near the center of town, but we proposed an integrated architectural and civil engineering plan that minimized the amount of earth excavation and shortened the construction period because rebuilding the school would lead to the reconstruction of the town. The school was developed as a "town axis" for the 2019 Rugby World Cup (one of the venues is the Kamaishi Unosumai Reconstruction Stadium), and an exchange center, gymnasium, and folklore facility (Unosumai Tomos, design: CAt) were built along the axis. (One of the venues is the Kamaishi Unosumai Reconstruction Stadium.
